Terms and conditions

Last updated: 24 August 2026.

These terms cover two things: how project work with Algori Systems runs, and how this website may be used. Algori Systems is a software studio based in the United Arab Emirates. If any point here is unclear, ask us at [email protected] before you commit to anything.

Quotes and scope

Every figure on this site is a starting point, and the pricing section says so. Before any work begins, we agree the scope and the final price with you in writing, usually by email. That written agreement is what binds both sides, and these terms fill in whatever it leaves unsaid. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it starts.

Payment

Fixed projects. Half of the agreed price is due before work begins, and the remainder is due on delivery. Code, credentials and deliverables are handed over once the final payment arrives.

Project and care plan. The build fee follows the same split. The monthly fee starts on the day your project goes live and is billed monthly from then on.

We invoice by card through a hosted payment page, or by bank transfer. Once work has begun, the first payment covers the work already done and is not refunded if the project is cancelled.

What the care plan covers

The monthly fee covers hosting, backups, monitoring, security patches and small fixes. New features, new pages and design work are quoted separately. You can cancel at any time: the service runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and we hand you an export of your code and data on the way out.

Ownership

You own what you paid for. On a fixed project, the code and deliverables become yours with the final payment. On a care plan, the product is yours as well: the monthly fee pays for the running of it, not for the right to it. We keep the right to show finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to. Third party components stay under their own licenses: open source libraries, fonts and similar remain the property of their authors.

What we need from you

Projects need input. You agree to provide the content, access and feedback the work depends on within a reasonable time, and to use what we build only for lawful purposes. When an input arrives late, the delivery date moves by the same amount.

Warranty and liability

We fix what we broke: defects you report within 30 days of delivery are corrected at no charge. Beyond that, our total liability for any claim connected to a project is capped at the amount you paid us for that project, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data. Third party services set up in your name, such as hosting accounts or APIs, run under those providers' own terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude. And if you deal with us as a consumer rather than a business, the mandatory rights your local law grants you, including any statutory right of withdrawal, remain untouched.

This website

The example builds on this site are our own concept work and are labelled as such. Blog articles are general information rather than professional advice. The content of this site belongs to Algori Systems; quote it with attribution rather than republishing it as your own.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If something goes wrong, talk to us first. Almost everything can be settled by email before it needs anything more formal.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. The version that applies to your project is the one in force on the day the project was agreed.
